I love, love, looove healthy green smoothies and try to drink a cup each day because the health and beauty benefits are ridiculous! I especially love it for the lasting energy that it gives me all throughout the day; and despite the color (which I actually adore), they taste great and you can add your own spin to your healthy green smoothie.
Healthy green smoothies are an excellent way to jump-start your healthy eating regimen if you’ve recently made new health goals for yourself. For me, when I start out my day this way, it’s easier to follow through on making wise eating choices throughout my day because I don’t want to mess up all of the good stuff I know is happening in my body from drinking my glowing green earlier.
Some benefits to drinking healthy green smoothies are that each cup is: rich in fiber, which can help you lose weight, you’ll get more than your daily recommended veggies, it gives you tons of energy that lasts without a crash, it has high nutritional content, very low calories, helps fight cancer, and it’s packed with tons of vitamins!
